ENCORE

“ENCORE” will be presented at Central York High School on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at

2:30 p.m. This celebration of musical theater in York County High Schools is presented

annually to recognize the talent, work and accomplishments evident in each high school

production.

Student actors, dancers, musicians and back-stage workers from the York County High

Schools will perform musical selections from this year’s shows. Over 500 students will

perform in this spectacular event!

Representatives from each school will perform in a musical finale.

Awards will then be presented in the following categories:

Outstanding Female Performer

Outstanding Male Performer

Most Creative or Original Performance

Best Production Number

Best Small Ensemble Performance

Best Dance Performance

Judges’ Award for Excellence

Best Overall Performance

Once again, scholarships will also be presented to students on the evening of the show.

This event is a highly anticipated evening of theater magic. Showcasing the hard work of

these students, directors and production teams brings pride to York County. Bryan Tate

will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the event

“ENCORE” is open to the public. Anyone who loves musical theater will be enthralled by
